Taste What We're All About

Community means everything to us at The Hayden — a brunch, lunch, and dinner spot where everyone's welcome, and no one leaves hungry. We blend our deep love for the classic Jewish delicatessen with the laid-back charm of a South Texas diner, where pastrami proudly takes center stage.

We set out to build a place that feels like home — a neighborhood gathering spot where the food and cocktails are always creative and thoughtful, but never fussy or overcomplicated. Thoughtful, Not Overthought we like to say.

So pull up a chair, break some rye bread (we recommend the Pastrami & Swiss), and let's enjoy the simple reminder that, at the table, we're not so different after all.

The Man Behind the Hayden

Meet Adam "Hayden" Lampinstein

The founder, the dishwasher, the busser, the man with more ideas than time — Adam wears the hats (and probably a few aprons too). From dreaming up the pastrami-packed menu to jumping in for last-minute table clears and LOTS, & LOTS of schmoozing - he's the heartbeat of The Hayden and his original concept.

With roots in Jewish food culture and a love for laid-back Southern hospitality, Adam created a space that's as warm, honest, and real as he is. No BS - just authentic food and kindness.
